Ever feel like you’re in an abusive relationship with money? You’re finally getting ahead and then out of nowhere you’re hit with an unexpected bill or expense?

There’s a reason for this — there’s some serious limiting beliefs and money blocks acting like giant boulders in your river of financial abundance. And this is the week you finally break free.

You see, abundance is right there right now totally ready for you. But because of all those damn boulders all you’re getting is a slight trickle, making you feel like you’re just getting by or living paycheck-to-paycheck.

It’s time to blow up the boulders. And your dynamite? Your thoughts, mind and focus. And we’re going to harness these superpowers today with this quick and powerful practice that I discovered at the beginning of my coaching career. I’m sharing it because it works.

Whatever you’re doing, take 5 minutes to put this into practice now:

Break Through Your Blocks

1. Close your eyes, settle in, take some deep breaths and see this amazing roaring river of abundance that’s running down a large hill right toward you. About half way down the hill there starts to be some boulders in the river bed, these boulders have totally dammed up your river of abundance.
   
   
2. These boulders are any negative thoughts about money, about if you’re good enough, if you can be successful, about whether anyone will sign up for your packages or not, etc. etc. The good news? You only have to remove a couple of the boulders for more abundance to start reaching you — you don’t have to remove them all right now. This means that you can start seeing results immediately and you can go easy on yourself and shifting your beliefs because you literally only need to remove one or two boulders to start seeing a difference.
   
   
3. Focus on one of the boulders, which belief or fear is this? “I have to work hard to make money. I’m a fraud. I’m not smart enough to be successful.” Maybe the fear is even written across the boulder. See it, acknowledge it, thank it for wherever it’s helped you in life, and then let it go, release this concern. Personally, I like to see the boulder explode…but there’s nothing wrong with it peacefully vanishing as well. Notice that by removing this one boulder that a bit of the river was able to get by and flow to you.
   
   
4. Go to the next boulder and repeat the removal process and notice how more of the river is starting to move toward you. It might be a trickle at first, and then a small stream moving toward you. As you repeat this process you’re going to have a full on river of abundance barreling toward you that you couldn’t stop if you wanted to.

I used this exercise many times in the beginning of my career to help me become aware of where I was blocking myself and to break free of those blocks.

One of the most powerful parts of this exercise is to notice that removing a single block is incredibly powerful and that there’s a breaking point where you’re not going to be able to stop that river of abundance no matter what you say or think.

And yes, some of those limiting beliefs are going to show back up from time to time, but no worries, you know how to remove them now – until one day, very soon, they stop showing up all together.
