Back in 2013 I’d fallen in love with the work of Mike Dooley.

You know, the “Thought Become Things” guy who sends the daily notes from the Universe and was on The Secret?

I’d hit the point where I was tired of feeling like my life was living me instead of the other way around.

So as I’d drive around Denver doing personal training and private yoga sessions for clients (sounds glamorous but what it really meant was lots of traffic, lots of cancellations and making $50 here and there)…

I’d listen to Mike Dooley’s books.

I’d soak up the idea that if I just changed my thoughts I could change my life.

Instead of believing that at the age of 28 the best years of my life had already passed me by (I know dramatic, but it’s how I felt).

One day as I was sitting at home trying to find fitness clients on Craigslist (I told you it was glamorous!)…

An email came in from Mike Dooley.

He was going to be in Denver training others to teach his Thoughts Become Things system so you could coach your own clients!!!

I HAD to go!

This was a sign!

It was going to be in the city I lived in for crying-out-loud!!

And then I looked at the price. $497.

My heart dropped.

I didn’t have $497.

Well, with the money mindset I have at this point I totally had access to that amount of money at the time — but I wouldn’t even begin to allow myself to feel like I could invest that on myself and my dreams.

So every day I’d watch the emails come in about the event.

Wishing I could go.

Praying for a miracle.

Watching the spaces left counting down…

Until one day an email came in about a scholarship.

If I thoroughly filled out an application I could be chosen to get half off attending the event!

Half off I could wrap my mind around!

YES I was going to rock out this application!

And I did 🙂

I explained how much this work meant to me and that one day I was going to be on a stage speaking and inspiring just like Mike Dooley and if they would just pick me I swear I would do everything in my power to help as many other people as possible learn about this work and transform their lives as well.

There’s literally tears streaming down my cheeks right now as I write that sentence to you.

I remember it so clearly.

The desire for more.

The willingness to do anything to live the life I knew I was put on this planet to live.

AND I GOT THE SCHOLARSHIP!!!

Here I am, sitting on the patio of the gorgeous home we built with the income from the business I started after that training.

Here I am LIVING it.

I told Mike Dooley I’d be here.

And I didn’t let him down.

And speaking to every woman who’s in the same place I was just a few short years ago.

You’re not alone.

The best is still yet to come.

And you are powerful beyond your wildest dreams.

This work changed my life.

Everything I’ve learned in the last five years has positioned me as an influencer with a business that will cross the $1,000,000 mark this year.

I don’t take that lightly.

I’m here to help women just like you light the past on fire and step into the most turned on, rich and free version of YOU.

2013, the year I got that scholarship, was also the year I only made $7,000.

Total.

And it was the year I married the love of my life and decided it was time to get my shit together and take responsibility for making my dreams my reality immediately.

And I did 🙂

Just a few short months later I was making $10K a month. More than I’d made the previous year.

It wasn’t strategy.

It was a decision.

It was transforming the way I showed up in the world.

It was smashing my money blocks.

It was tapping back into my natural state of wealth (which is your natural state too).

And it was remembering how to generate cash on demand.
