Did you come into this year with a clear specific plan like….

I want X to happen and I want it to happen by doing Y?

I did. I’ve noticed the further along I’ve gotten in my business the more I seem to want to get it all organized and tied up nicely in a bow…

Ok, January I’ll fill 6 spots in this program. February we’ll launch that group. March I’ll do such-and-such.

And guess what?

Sometimes life kind of goes as planned, but most of the time it gives us what we need…not what we think we wanted.

What I wanted? A replay of last year just taken to the next level!

Because last year was pretty epic…

My first destination retreats in Tulum, Colorado and Napa. High-level intensives in Beverly Hills. Sold out 1:1 packages leading up to a 195K month. My first live event.

There were definitely ups and downs last year and a lot of work. But, it was fun and highly profitable.

So you can imagine my surprise when I stepped into 2017 and everything that worked last year, refused to work this year.

Yes, the online world is changing and marketing needs to shift to keep up. But, it wasn’t that…

It was something deeper.

I felt it deep in my gut but I didn’t want to listen.

I started to feel a tug that my entire business model was going to have to change…

Not to keep up with the online world, but to keep up with my purpose on this planet.

My main form of income for the last three years had been high-level private coaching packages and group program launches.

So imagine my surprise when I realized these weren’t the main ways I was meant to work anymore.

I couldn’t keep up the pace of supporting up to 15, 1:1 clients any longer…so I started working with just a couple incredible 1:1 clients at a time in a deeper way.

And I couldn’t even think about launching again…

10 launches over the last couple years that all made me cry at some point no matter how successful they were or how supportive my team was…left me never wanting to launch again.

So it was time to follow my gut, follow my dreams and finally automate my business and master funnels like I’d always wanted to.

But, it was scary.

Replacing $15,000 coaching packages with $15 courses is a whole other animal.

It felt a little like taking my business and cutting the legs off of it.

“Oh, all those things that make money in my business…yeah, let’s go ahead and remove those.”

A little freaked out doesn’t even begin to sum up how I was feeling.

But, you can’t go against your heart.

I tried to for about six months from the end of 2016 into the first couple months of 2017…

And one of my favorite quotes from Oprah sums up exactly how that went:

“Life is always speaking to you. First in whispers… And if you don’t pay attention to the whispers, it gets louder and louder. It’s like getting thumped upside the head…. You don’t pay attention to that, it’s like getting a brick upside your head. You don’t pay attention to that, the whole brick wall falls down. That’s the pattern I’ve seen in my life, and it’s played out over and over again.”

So, interestingly enough, having to master funnels has actually been a spiritual journey — not just a business strategy.

It’s inspired me, energized me, changed my life, the way I do business and the results my clients are getting.

I suppose I’m a weird mix between spiritual and strategic.

A deeply connected intuitive who always brings crystals and angel cards to sessions…

But, who’s also obsessed with online business, marketing, copywriting and results.

But, luckily I believe that what makes you weird also makes you wealthy 😉
