Part of the reason I took my recent road trip to LA and Vegas was because I was craving feeling glamorous and inspired.

My personality is about half country-girl loving nature, mountain towns, hiking, yoga pants and micro-brews and half red-carpet ready in high-heels, glam dresses, blow-outs and bright lipstick.

I tend to swing between these two sides depending on what I need at that moment, luxurious sheets in my RV in the mountains or a microbrew at the Ritz Carlton in LA.

I no longer fight who I am, I just know I have to tend to both sides — the rustic and the glam.

This trip was my glam side wanting to come out and play, she wasn’t feeling it in sweaters and snow anymore.

I’d been dreaming about LA and one of the best places I know to step into some high-vibe shopping is on the way in Vegas where there’s more designer shops like Chanel and Louis Vuitton then you could begin to get through in a day.

I used to feel completely uncomfortable in these kinds of shops, I was sure everyone could tell I didn’t belong. I remember fleeing from a Neiman Marcus only a few years ago before my wedding because I felt so uncomfortable with the whole experience and the prices.

I’m not afraid anymore, but it definitely took some serious wealth consciousness and mindset work to get me there. I’m not intimated by the prices, instead I see them as an invitation to explore what my true desires are, who I want to be and who the woman is who walks into these shops and easily makes a purchase.

And one of my favorite shops to play in is Loro Piana — the quality and timelessness of their products sets them apart for me. It’s easy to imagine yourself dressed from head to toe in Loro Piana at your country estate, walking the grounds with a glass of champagne in hand.

However, before I could even begin browsing the boutique the lovely ladies who work there had me wrapped in a cashmere sweater and vest set in a beautiful soft gray. The fabric was so soft it felt like wearing a cloud. I glanced at the price tag out of curiosity…just under $30,000.

Yes, you read that correctly.

This price put a big smile on my face. Why? Because we can get so caught up as women entrepreneurs about our own pricing, how much we should charge for our packages, will anyone really sign up for that price, etc. etc.

And Loro Piana is over here with an entire chain of clothing shops selling $30,000 sweaters.

If there’s enough ideal clients out there looking for 5-figure sweaters believe me, there’s enough ideal clients out there interested in purchasing your $1,500, $5,000 or $10,000 coaching packages.

This is why we have to get out of our comfort zone and get out of our home offices, to stumble across what we didn’t even know existed and get inspired.

There’s a place for you in this marketplace no matter what your area of expertise or your price. Your job is to own it confidently.

Now that I’ve been glammed up, intrigued and inspired for the last week with lots of red lipstick, a black lace jumpsuit, swanky hotels and a 30K sweater (no, I didn’t purchase it) I feel completely clear on what’s next in my business and connected to my desires and what’s true for me.

Now I’m ready to be home, watch the snow fall out my window and curl up by our fireplace with a plush blanket and something warm to drink…for now. And who knows when the next craving for adventure will strike.
