Do they excite you or do you feel overwhelmed with trying to create momentum?

I personally thrive in them.

I love the opportunity to have a clean slate and reassess what’s really important to me.

I love a sense of newness, adventure, the unexpected.

And that’s what a new year feels like to me.

I was chatting with a friend recently and the topic of resolutions came up. I remember when I use to do these but they’re honestly not part of my life anymore.

And during this discussion I realized why.

Because I make adjustments and shift my sails to bring me closer to my desires about once a month, not once a year!

When I look back to where I was a year ago and I look at my goals for just the first 6 months of this year, I know that we must consistently stay in tune with our own guidance system and desires rather than the ‘shoulds’ of running your own business and making money.

I don’t believe that you have to be in business a year or more before you start to see profits. I believe you can make money within the first couple months of launching.

I don’t believe you need to get a coaching certification, a masters degree and 150 practice sessions under your belt before you’re ready to be of service to clients. I believe that working with a private mentor is a more powerful, and honestly, a more economic option.

I believe in crunching down your time line and broadening your expectations of what’s possible.

I heard a statistic today from one of my mastermind partners that the average entrepreneur makes about $25,000 a year. I’ve been in that statistic and I’ve been on the other side of it as well, earning 25K a month.

And here’s the FASCINATING part. I didn’t work any harder to earn 25K in a month than I did in a year.

You have a clean slate before you.

You get to decide who you are going to be this year.

Who you’re going to be right now. How you’re going to act, how you’re going to feel.

Don’t take it quite so seriously. Allow yourself to play, to have fun, to go on adventures. To make mistakes, to course correct and then to nail it.

There’s no doubt in my mind that if earning 8K to 10K a month is a desire of yours, that you can claim it this year.

And there’s no doubt in my mind that you can earn at this level, working with clients you love, feeling totally lit up after your coaching sessions and working 4 days a week or less.

You get to choose if you desire freedom in your schedule, freedom to travel or financial freedom.

Or you can choose to ‘take a stand for the and’…and have them all.
